Commercial Balustrades

HomePlus introduced the Edgetec® Commercial Post balustrade system as a specialist product for commercial settings, including internal and external balconies, retail areas, stairs and landings.

Designed and manufactured in New Zealand, the Edgetec® Commercial Post balustrade has been engineered and tested by independent engineers to comply with NZ standards AS/NZS1170 and is suitable for Occupancy A, B, E, C1/C2, C3 and D Occupancy Types.

• The Edgetec® Commercial Post balustrade system must only be installed in accordance with the Edgetec® Commercial Post product/specifiers manual
• The glass must have a minimum strength of 100mpa
• All glass edges must be polished
• All glass holes must be smooth and free of chips and cracks

Compliant with AS/NZ 1170.1.2002 A, B, E, C1/C2, C3 and D Occupancy Types.

• All infill glass must be toughened safety glass, complying with AS/NZS 2208
• Dulux Duralloy powder coating is used for properties greater than 100 metres from high tide level, where AMA 2603 performance is required
• Dulux Duratec powder coating must be used for properties greater than 10 metres and up to 100 metres from high tide levels where AMA 2604 performance is required
