All glass is toughened to NZS 4233 Part 3 for human impact requirements and the hinge systems provide for 6mm, 8mm or 8mm glass thicknesess. Although most enclosures are specially built to suit the designers requirements there are restrictions relating to door and glass panel sizes. All designs must be checked to ensure compliance with regulations.
Most hinges have a cam action which allows the door to swing open and to self close from 20 degrees.
