Dream Outdoor Location perfect for Juralco Louvre roof and Balustrades.

This property found on the banks of Lake Wakatipu near Queenstown is in a stunning location and the owner rightly wanted to utilise the opportunities to showcase the amazing vista and outdoor experience that is presented.
The installer HomePlus Southland completed the work on this property and was tasked by the owner to give life to their clear vision. To ensure minimal visual interruption from the stunning outlook Edgetec® Double Disc anchor balustrade with toughened safety glass and a slim top rail were chosen for the property’s three balconies. The 50mm diameter round, aluminium anchor fixings along with toughened glass panels, provide a clear, minimalistic, uncluttered, and stylish finish. The top rail and double discs have been powder coated to match the existing joinery. This sympathetic balustrade has made certain that the view has not been compromised.
With this great location maximising the amount of time that is able to be spent outside was also a key requirement. The installation of multiple freestanding louvre roofs enabled their outside spaces to effectively be an extension of indoors. The roofs are able to be set to the best sun orientation to maximise shading during the day or be completely closed to give full protection from inclement weather including rain and snow. Its design ensures that guttering and downpipes are incorporated into the louvre roof and inbuilt LEDs in the support beams provide stylish lighting. The finished result is stunning modern outdoor focal points that have effectively blurred the boundary between the inside and outside.
While the louvres and glass balustrades are the superstar products showcased at this location, our installer also suggested that for the entrance to the property, a Juralco fencing product Edge® Stecca™ be used. The aesthetic of the panels with fitted slats on the front of the balustrade support rails (as opposed to inside the rails) has added an extra dimension of depth and interest. The panels have been powder coated to the customer’s specification.
The finished property represents an architecturally engaging and modern building that has successfully showcased the main asset of its breathtaking location to its full potential.
